The Training Squad provides quality face-to-face coaching services for Triathlon South Members that share a passion for the sport of triathlon. Catering for a range of abilities, TSTS provides professional sessions to help develop athletes and assist them to achieve their goals in racing – be it local or interstate races, ITU Junior, ITU Elite, 70.3 or Ironman events or at age group competitions at the national level.
We cater for athletes of all ages and levels of ability, whether it is participating in your first triathlon or taking triathlon to the next level. All are welcome, and our experienced coaches are able to deliver sessions to suit the needs no matter what your ability.
The TSTS is for anyone who wants to have a go and strive to improve across all four disciplines. If you are new to the sport or have been doing it for years and want that little extra edge then maybe the TSTS is for you. You may even want a change of scenery or just want to meet some like-minded people. At TSTS we are serious about the sport of Triathlon but we also enjoy a good time and what better way to do it than by swimming, cycling, running and practicing your transitions with people who share your passion.
Cost per session is $10, or all four sessions $20 per week direct debit. For running sessions, we require our participants to wear appropriate clothing with reflective elements, and a head torch. The Sunday cycling session is only appropriate for those with road or triathlon bikes.
